#Drive Rally, the arcade-inspired rally racer from Polish developer Pixel Perfect Dude and publisher PM Studios, has officially landed on Nintendo Switch. PM Studios and Pixel Perfect Dude brought #Drive Rally to Nintendo Switch on June 18, 2026, and released a new launch trailer alongside it. It is also available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, after first arriving in early access on PC.

From PC Early Access to Console

Originally announced for consoles at a Las Vegas event in March 2026, #Drive Rally had already been celebrated on PC for its personality and throwback charm, having originally launched on PC in April 2025. Developer Pixel Perfect Dude is a studio headquartered in Kalisz, Poland, and is known for the #DRIVE franchise. While #Drive was inspired by the action movies and television of the 1970s and 80s, #Drive Rally is the spiritual successor looking to barrel down toward 90s-inspired arcade driving game excellence.

PM Studios CEO Michael Yum commented on the console launch:

"Racing has always been a genre that shines on consoles, and bringing #DRIVE Rally to Xbox Series, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch - both digitally and in physical form - feels like the perfect way to celebrate competition, nostalgia and the joy of collecting great games."

What's in the Game

#Drive Rally challenges players to master a variety of stages across the sunny landscapes of Dry Crumbs, the whispering woods of Holzberg, and the chilly wilderness of Revontuli, combining accessible pick-up-and-play controls with rewarding depth, extensive vehicle customization, personality-packed co-drivers, and competitive leaderboards.

The game features over 600 km of rally stages across six iconic locations, 25 customizable cars each available in three rally classes, six co-drivers with their own championships, and a local party mode supporting up to 12 players taking turns for the top leaderboard spot.

Feature Detail
Rally stages 600+ km across 6 locations
Cars 25, in 3 classes
Co-drivers 6, each with a championship
Local party Up to 12 players
Platforms Switch, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, PC

A big part of #Drive Rally's appeal is how fully it commits to 1990s rally nostalgia - chunky retro-leaning visuals, regions with evocative names, customizable cars based on classic rally machines, and a co-driver who adds personality while you drive. The game also includes a Photo Mode with adjustable camera angles and filters, as well as a Free Roam Mode with collectibles that unlock interior decors.

Physical and Special Editions

Along with digital availability, the game has a physical release on Nintendo Switch, also launching on June 18, 2026, with PM Studios handling physical distribution in North America. In Europe, Meridiem is in charge of distribution, and is planning a Special Edition that includes stickers and an art book as extras.

For deal hunters who prefer physical media, the North American standard edition and the European Special Edition (with art book and stickers) both represent solid options for a game that makes a strong case for the couch-and-controller format. Arcade racers have always punched above their weight on handheld and living-room consoles, and #Drive Rally's 12-player local party mode and 90s charm should suit Switch owners well.
